I. Controlling from the Source of Materials
High-quality suppliers rigorously screen raw materials. Birch is currently an ideal material for wooden tableware on the market. The density of the wood directly affects the lightness and durability of the tableware. Excessive moisture content can lead to cracking and mold during subsequent processing. Wood with knots or wormholes will become defective products. Therefore, priority should be given to selecting wood with excellent color and quality.

II. Steaming and Softening
The first process after the logs enter the production line is steaming, which involves 8-10 hours of steaming at high temperatures.
- Degreasing and Sugar Removal: This removes the naturally occurring fats and sugars in the wood, preventing bacterial growth in the final product.
- Sterilization and disinfection: Can be used to kill insect eggs or bacteria hidden deep within the wood fibers.
- Softening and shaping: Makes the wood more flexible and malleable, ensuring it won't crack during subsequent cutting.
After steaming, the wood undergoes a peeling process to remove the outer bark and impurities, preparing it for cutting.
III. Cutting and Shaping
Thickness control
During the cutting process, the thickness tolerance of the wood chips must be controlled within ±0.05mm. Uneven thickness will result in inconsistent strength in the finished product; too thin and it will break easily, too thick and it will feel too heavy.
High-pressure molding
During the molding process, we use automated equipment and 40 tons of high pressure to shape and deepen the tableware, ensuring that the curvature of each fork and spoon is consistent and the structure is stable.

Shaping
After molding, a high-temperature hot-pressing process at 160℃-180℃ is performed to prevent the spoons from springing back and also to sterilize them a second time.
IV. Drying and Moisture Control
Moisture control is the most easily overlooked aspect of wooden tableware production. If the moisture content is too high, mold will appear during transportation; if it is too low, cracking will occur.
During production, we strictly control the moisture content of the wood to below 10%. Throughout the drying process, we continuously monitor temperature and humidity to ensure that the moisture content of each batch of products is uniform. This is because products experience temperature and humidity changes in different climate zones during sea transport; improper moisture content control will lead to mold growth.
V. Polishing and Surface Treatment
Proper surface treatment directly affects safety and user experience. Semi-finished products require 4-6 hours of friction polishing.
- Coarse Grinding: Removes burrs and rough areas.
- Fine Grinding: Finely polishes along the wood grain to eliminate scratches.
- Dust Removal: Dust is removed during polishing to ensure a clean product surface.
The entire polishing process does not apply any chemical coatings. After polishing, the edges of each product should be rounded and smooth, suitable for children and the elderly.

Metal Detection
